Even though this year’s Ride for Roswell’s format is changing, we still need the help of our incredible volunteers. We will need support for all of our in-person, physically distant August rides.

Specifically, we will be looking for:

We need to ensure that the traffic flow is smooth, so we need some volunteers in the parking lot to designate where riders should park to support physical distancing.

We will have pre-stuffed lunch bags for our riders this year to stay safe! Volunteers in this role will help hand out these lunch bags.

Start Line Volunteer

We will need some help at the start line letting riders know when they are allowed to head out since we will only be sending out 10 riders at a time in 20-minute intervals.

We can always use some friendly faces to cheer on riders as they come in after finishing their ride!

The physically distant rides will take place on the first three Saturdays and Sundays in August at three different locations:

  • University at Buffalo North Campus
  • Grand Island West Shore Parkway
  • Akron Five Corners (*Saturdays only*)

shift times

  • 5:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
  • 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
  • 2:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

In honor of our 25th anniversary and our 25 Tales series, we spoke to five volunteers about their experience and why they come back every year to be a part of the Ride for Roswell. Check out the full story here.
