Whether it’s updating your dashboard, posting on social media, or sending emails — we are here to walk you through it!
The most successful fundraisers take the time to do these three things:
Update your photo!
We can’t stress enough how important this is — this picture will get posted every time you share your fundraising page on social media. Your followers will be more likely to donate if they feel a personal connection to you and your story. When you update your photo, be sure to update your story so everyone can learn about why you are choosing to ride.
You can also do this through our mobile app!
Emailing is the best way to reach out to your donors. Make sure you add a personal touch. Use one of our email templates and add your story to it! Share your photos and the link to your fundraising page in your email as well. Our system allows you to upload your contacts and keep track of when you have contacted them. We even provide you with sample emails that have all the messaging you need. If you don’t get responses your first time asking, ask again!
Share on Social Media!
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and LinkedIn are all great ways to share your story about why you are riding. You will likely reach many more people than you have email addresses for. When you share your photo and story on social media, people feel compelled to give. You also might gain a few new riders to spend the day with. You never know if there is someone out there that feels the same way you do about cancer.
