The Ride For Roswell Ceremonial Torch
At this year’s Celebration of Hope, we unveiled The Ride For Roswell Ceremonial Torch. The torch was lit by the Comaratta family, who unfortunately lost their husband and father to leukemia this past December.
The idea, concept and design for the torch came from Celebration of Hope Planning Committee Chair, Chris Eberle. The sculpture was created at Essex Art Center by Mark and Tyler Griffis and their team. The torch itself was fabricated by a brilliant team at Praxair and the incredible Ride Blue painting was a collective effort between West Herr Automotive Group and Newco Powder.
Watch the story of how the torch came to be a symbol of hope and strength, truly embodying the spirit of Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
