It’s a weekend of activities and opportunities to come together as a community in the fight to end cancer. Here’s everything you need to know about Ride Weekend, including details, schedules and more.

This year's Ride is cashless

To help keep lines moving and improve the Ride Weekend experience, all purchases on-site will be cashless. We will accept credit cards, debit cards and digital wallets, including Apple Pay and Google Pay. This applies to Ride merchandise, beer sales, chicken dinner tickets and basket raffle tickets.
Please note: Rider fundraising donations submitted at check-in may still be made by check or cash.

We strongly encourage riders to check in on Thursday or Friday for a seamless Ride Day. Check-in is where you will receive your rider bib, turn in donations, purchase merchandise and collect fundraising rewards!

Let’s gather and be reminded of why we ride. See the arrival of the Peloton, the Parade of Teams, the Roswell Park patient and staff processional, the lighting of the ceremonial torch and more.

This is a free event open to the Ride Community including riders, volunteers, donors and supporters.

Saturday, June 27

Parking lots, check-in, breakfast and the start line queue all open for the day at 5:00 a.m.

Route start times

All nine routes have 16 different start times from 6 - 10:40 a.m. To confirm your exact time, check your check your personal fundraising page. or logistics email that you receive during Ride Week.

Start & Finish Line

Cheer on riders as they cross the start and finish line on Hamilton Road! The more we come together, the more inspiring Ride Day will be. The liveliest post-Ride celebration time with the most riders on-site is usually 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Ride Day Activities will be available until 2:30 p.m. and food, drinks and first aid will be available until 3 p.m.

Breakfast & lunch

Both breakfast and lunch are provided to all riders thanks to Tops Friendly Markets, Sahlen’s & Coca-Cola.

Breakfast is 5:30 – 10:30 a.m.

Lunch begins at 9:00 a.m.

Kids Zone

Two kids find their own way crawling through colorful inflatable rings in an outdoor obstacle course, surrounded by trees and people on a sunny day.

The Kids Zone will feature a variety of fun activities for kids, including mini golf, the Buffalo Zoomobile, face painting, and hands-on games and activities from Rolly Pollies of Western New York.

Victory Bell

Are you a cancer patient or survivor? Celebrate any milestone with us by ringing the bell located in the lunch lot near the torch.

Fundraising total

Join us near the torch every 30 minutes starting at 10 a.m. to celebrate the latest fundraising total!

Team Tent Village

Whether your Bring Your Own Tent or rented one of ours, find your team tent and celebrate your achievements before and after your ride!  Team tent village includes:

Find the blue “?” on the map! Here you can pick-up tent information, enter the t-shirt contest, get your photo taken and meet up with your team!

EMC Tent

Lunch provided by Berrafatos and Tops with activities including a special photo station, beer garden, bike parking and covered dining area.

EMC Silver Tent

All EMC Tent amenities and massages, ice cream sundaes, special EMC Silver cocktail, charcuterie board and yogurt parfaits.

Rented Team Tents

With space on the grass, you’ll be right next to the start and finish lines!

Team T-Shirt Contest

Bring an extra T-shirt from your team to the Team Tent Info Booth to enter our Team T-Shirt Contest. A winner will be announced on Ride Day and receive a custom trophy, social media recognition, and swag/treat basket.

Team Tent Contest

Register your Rented or BYO tent for the Team Tent Contest by signing up at the Team Services Hub by NOON on Ride Day to ensure a judge visits your tent. Decorate with balloons, streamers, banners, signs – anything that shows your team pride! You could win a custom trophy, social media recognition and swag/treat basket.
