RIDING TOGETHER BUT APART

The Ride for Roswell brings together our community with one mission – to end cancer. Even though we can’t gather together in the traditional way this year, we are determined to make the Summer of the Ride just as impactful as previous years.

Cancer doesn’t stop and neither can we. And because cancer patients are some of society’s most vulnerable during the COVID-19 pandemic, our mission is more important now than ever before.

HERE'S HOW THE SUMMER OF THE RIDE WORKS

Things may look a little bit different this year, but we promise to bring all the most-loved moments to the 25th anniversary. Here’s our new schedule with more details coming soon:

RIDE WITH US

Throughout the month of August, we will be hosting small weekend rides throughout Western New York for individuals and teams to enjoy. We will be riding on the following dates:

  • Saturday, August 1
  • Sunday, August 2
  • Saturday, August 8
  • Sunday, August 9
  • Saturday, August 15
  • Sunday, August 16

This is our Ride community’s chance to experience some of the tradition of Ride Day, while following current protocol. During these in-person rides, all participants are required to follow proper physical distancing rules, including  wearing a face mask. Riders will set in groups of ten or less every 20 minutes. Riders who want to ride with us should register for a mileage commitment of any length. More details on timeslots and how to sign up are coming soon  stay tuned!

Ride Your Own Way

If you cannot make it to one of our weekend rides or don’t feel comfortable attending one, you can still participate in the Ride by doing it on your own! Create the perfect Ride day experience for yourself by choosing the time, location and distance that works best for you. That could be cruising down a local bike path, or riding around your neighborhood a few times or hopping on a stationary bike.

No matter what way you choose to participate, you are helping bring awareness to our mission and fundraising for patients throughout Western New York.
