Watching the Peloton ride into the Celebration of Hope is one of the most impactful moments of Ride Weekend. Our team is currently exploring options to still experience this incredibly moving moment for the 2020 Ride. Once a final decision has been made, we will make sure to communicate all the details with our Peloton riders.
No matter what the Peloton experience looks like this year, all participating riders must meet these requirements.
Peloton riders must fundraise $2,500 in order to participate. Check out our fundraising tools to get started.
Peloton riders must be able to ride 12 miles at a consistent average of 12-14 mph.
Have Access to a Bike
All Peloton riders must have a bicycle in good working condition; wear an approved cycling helmet (with CPSC or ASTM certified sticker) and wear the provided Extra Mile Club Silver jersey during the Peloton.
Be at least 14 Years Old
Peloton riders must be at least 14 years old on August 1, 2020. Riders 14-17 years old must be accompanied by an adult also registered and confirmed to ride in the Peloton.
Peloton riders are required to complete a qualifying ride every 2 years. Qualifying rides will teach or refresh riding in formation and familiarize riders with the logistics associated with riding in the Peloton. Information on qualifying rides will be released soon.
