For the 20th anniversary of The Ride For Roswell, Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center commissioned celebrated Buffalo artist Ellen Steinfeld to create a tribute sculpture to The Ride and its founder, Mitch Flynn.

The whimsical sculpture is comprised of cyclists and is fashioned out of metal. It resides in Pathways Park.

In 2017, Pathways Park and The Ride statue were dedicated to all past, present and future riders, donors and volunteers who make The Ride possible. They were also dedicated to Mitch, who founded The Ride in 1996 to give people another way to join in on the fight against cancer.

The pavers circling the statue have been engraved to honor each Ride year’s top fundraisers, volunteers and event co-chairs. Pavers will continue to be added after forth-coming Rides.Pathways Park Paver
