History of the Ride

The Ride For Roswell started out as an idea from a passionate volunteer who wanted to create a way for the whole Western New York community to take part in the fight against cancer. The first Ride was the start of a life-changing annual gathering that has become one of the largest charity cycling events in North America. Since the inaugural Ride in 1996, the event has grown from offering 3 routes to 11, introduced an international experience through our Canadian routes, added a pre-ride rally with the Celebration of Hope and increased its fundraising total year after year!
