What is Beers & Gears?
Beers & Gears is a happy hour series designed to help you boost your Ride for Roswell fundraising. Enjoy great drinks at some of Western New York’s most popular and coolest breweries while raising money toward your personal Ride goal.
It’s an easy, fun way to hit your $200 fundraising minimum – and have a great time doing it!

How it works
Choose your Beers & Gears event
Pick a date to attend – or come to multiple events – and invite family, friends, coworkers…anyone who loves a good drink for a good cause. Beer is always on tap, and some breweries also include wine and cocktails (options and availability vary by location). The more people you bring, the more you raise for your RFR fundraising goal.
Raise your glass
Your $20 admission includes two drink tickets, and every dollar of your admission goes directly to the rider’s fundraising page of your choice (yes, it can be your own)! It’s one of the easiest – and most fun – ways to boost your donations!
Pre-sale perks
We offer pre-sale tickets for Beers & Gears events with many hosting breweries offering a discount on food when you purchase in advance! It’s a great reason to plan ahead, stay longer, and enjoy dinner while supporting the cause.
Sip, socialize and maybe score a prize
Check the back of your drink tickets – a few lucky attendees at each event will win a prize or gift card just for being there!! So grab a drink, hang out, and toast to Ride for Roswell.
Beers & Gears raised a total of $34,045 in 2024!
