• Congratulations to 16 year old, Sarah Banas, who was randomly selected to win 12 tickets to the August 18th Bisons game and throw out the first pitch. All youth 18 or younger who became Extra Mile Club members were eligible.
• Congratulations to 18 year old, Stephen Bentley, who was randomly selected to win a once in a lifetime experience with Adam Benigni as a media shadow for the day at a Buffalo Sabres game. The Ride For Roswell is an annual celebration of community support for Roswell Park Cancer Institute and its core mission to understand, prevent and cure cancer. The Ride is a year-round fundraising program for the Institute that culminates in a celebratory cycling event every June. It is a safe and healthy day of cycling fun for riders, teams, cancer survivors, and supporters.

 

The Ride For Roswell offers a distance for any type of rider. Participants can choose to ride from six different routes this year! Either choose a traditional route that starts from Baird Point -- the 62.5-mile, 44-mile, 33-mile, 30-mile, 20-mile, or 8-mile routes -- or join the new Extra Mile Club Peloton: only 13.3-miles from Roswell Park to UB. If you can't ride that day or want to simply fundraise and join us at the picnic, become a virtual rider.
